Misc IWI Carmel Event

Not sure if this is allowed on the sub but I saw this pop up, If anyone lives in the area and is interested in trying out the IWI Carmel before purchasing it I think this would be a great opportunity! Easthill Outdoors is in Clarington ON

This thing is pretty cool. Reminds me of a g36 with the carry handle filled.

It is kind of like the G36. In my country I own a civilian legal clone of the G36 (S5 Tactical SG36) and the IWI Carmel. Both rifles have polymer receivers, are short stroke piston operated, have folding stocks and ambidextrous features but both rifles go about a different way. Between the two, the IWI Carmel is heavier but to be fair, it also has a heavier stock, barrel, aluminum hand guard and metal rails in the polymer receivers. I would say my VHS-2 clone (Springfield Hellion) probably has more in common with the G-36 than the Carmel. Both rifles take apart by removing three pins, both have top mounted ambidextrous charging that are under a 1913 optics rail with BUIS, both rifles make the extensive use of polymers and the VHS-2 uses G-36 magazines.
