Buy recommendations Is this the best .22 option?

Hey, I am again having the itch to fill the gun safe abit more. Pure investment if you ask me to be fair.

As I cry seeing all my buds in the US with their ARs, I am looking at 22s. Is the TM22 the best price/quality option out there? To be fair im only going to use it for fun because ammo is dirt cheap. Any other choices I should consider?

Feel free to tell me I'm an idiot.

Cheers

The TM22 comes out of the box with the advantage of 25 round mags. To get that for the 10/22 takes some fenagling. You can get the SBI or similar adapter to use Remington 597 mags and there is an adapter that puts a 597 feed on a GSG 16 110 round drum. They work but here is where you may or may not run into feed issues. There is also the HC3R 25 mags that will fit the SBI and Dlask receivers, but they are $80 each and there may be no more coming into the country as the manufacturer may cease production on them. The TM22 comes from the factory looking tacticool but you will be spending money to get a similar look in a 10/22. So do you want tacticool with 25 round mags ready done, or do you want a classic rifle with 10 round mags, or do you want to tinker to get larger mag capacity and a tacticool 10/22?

Thanks for the explanation! Tacticool first , mag size not the biggest reason. Want less problem with the rifle since I’m not an expert in dissembling things so in don’t want to remove all the parts each week to fix problem……

The TM22 requires the removal of three screws to get to the bolt and trigger assembly. The 10/22 requires a few more steps. There are videos of both available. People at the range are generally very helpful.
