Is this the best .22 option?

Hey, I am again having the itch to fill the gun safe abit more. Pure investment if you ask me to be fair.

As I cry seeing all my buds in the US with their ARs, I am looking at 22s. Is the TM22 the best price/quality option out there? To be fair im only going to use it for fun because ammo is dirt cheap. Any other choices I should consider?

Best option is the 10/22 - it's the more reliable and has the most options to modify.

However, a TM22 is cheap and cheerful and mostly works fine out of the box.

But, it will cost at least double to build a 10/22 equivalent of a TM22. The 10/22 build will be much more serviceable than a TM22 (i.e. easier to clean and fix as replacement parts are readily available).

I like the look of the TM22, price is attractive as well. Im not against the 10/22. It would be pure range fun gun

I just ordered a 10/22 over a TM22 as my first .22 simply due to the fact that it's much less likely to be banned. The AR vibes of the TM22 and extended mags makes it "scary" to some 🙄
