Buy recommendations Is this the best .22 option?

Hey, I am again having the itch to fill the gun safe abit more. Pure investment if you ask me to be fair.

As I cry seeing all my buds in the US with their ARs, I am looking at 22s. Is the TM22 the best price/quality option out there? To be fair im only going to use it for fun because ammo is dirt cheap. Any other choices I should consider?

Feel free to tell me I'm an idiot.

Cheers

The TM22 is a better "modern sporting rifle" than the 10/22. No amount of aftermarket spending (eg chassis, new trigger, etc) can change this because it's the actual control layout that's the issue. The TM is a phenemonal value for running shooting drills or just doing some tactical plinking. I prefer it to the GSGs that came before it, my 10/22 build and any other semi auto 22 I've used for shooting drills... With the exception of an AR + conversion kit.

Here's the posts of my 10/22TD and TM22. I kitted both of these out to serve as AR trainers. The 10/22 has been coverted back into a more streamlined TD style rifle because the TM is simply way better suited for carbine drills and training. https://www.reddit.com/r/canadaguns/s/ey4Knm2Klk https://www.reddit.com/r/canadaguns/s/ENwz8VKzn8
