Application / Regulation advice Status of Buyback

Anyone know what the current status of the buyback is? While I oppose it in principle, I bought a Springfield M1A for pure novelty and jumped at the chance to get virtually all of my money back for it. I went through the application process and now, crickets...

The status is the liberals still haven't announced how they realistically plan to collect the guns. Every idea they have floated so far has been half baked nonsense. The liberals have a fixed budget for this program and have already burnt up most of it without collecting a single gun from a private individual. At this point in the game it's looking like you will either be sitting on your gun for quite some time through amnesty extensions or end up surrendering it without compensation.

Wow dude, thanks for calling me a “moron.” I’m going to choose to be a little more optimistic but enjoy seething in your little puddle of cynicism. I’ll be sure to throw it in your Face if I get my money.

You are projecting an emotional outburst where none exists. I merely stated the facts of the matter thus far. To reiterate: no coherent plan despite 6 years since the original OIC + over 500 million of the 750 million dollar budget already spent with the liberals having warned gun owners they are not guaranteed payment.

I understand that EQ may not be your strong suit, but pro tip: When you basically call someone a "moron" without knowing them at all, you're going to get some pushback.

Dude, for one, read the room. Secondly I only stated the facts of the situation. If that makes you feel called out as a moron that is a situation that only exists inside your own head.
