What I found was that dirt cheap optics and a 12ga dont work. .22? Sure. I even had one on a .357 for a bit but thats like the upper limit. Cheap dots have steel screws and aluminum bases. They will strip, they will work themselves loose. It’s not even about holding zero, the optic will literally come flying off.
