I haven’t watched the video, but just as a fun fact…
If a firearm that is an NR gets lost/stolen you must report it.
However, you DON’T need to report it if you destroyed it yourself, such as it got rusty and useless, it had a failure, etc. you are allowed to destroy and dispose of it without needing to tell anyone.
If your NR then became prohib, you don’t have to report it as long as you destroyed and disposed of it PRIOR to its reclassification. If it’s still intact after reclassification, then this information doesn’t apply.
I am fairly certain this is accurate information, and if I am wrong I would love to be corrected as I don’t want to say something inaccurate. I will edit or delete this if found to be inaccurate
