I know the path now, it was explained to me by several club members, I just need to find a loaner handgun for the initial shoot. 3 u/-rifle-is-fine- May 14 '26 I was told by a club here that getting into airgun shooting is a foot in the door towards a handgun exemption. 1 u/MBGLK May 14 '26 The other guy is wrong, again. I Purchased an air pistol and practiced and documented my training sessions, submitted them to the sfc and they helped me get an exemption letter.
