Feets / Collection / My build 12” tm22

Still waiting on a FDE stock and a vortex defender to replace the shitty red dot

Happy I pulled the trigger on this, guns extremely compact as it should have been when it first came out.

I’ve owned 3 so far and this one is by far my favourite

Your only real option is the A17, and you're stuck with traditional ergonomics and 8-round magazines.

Not that it's any better in the US; there are a couple of ARs in the caliber that cost 2.5x what the Savage does, but that's it.

I think .17 WSM is underrated, and it's as close as one can reasonably get to the rimfire cartridge used in the Interdynamics MKR of the 1980s. Its only real problem is that 5.56 is cheaper than it (as opposed to the other rimfire .22/.17s, where 5.56 is merely competitive in price).

It is unfortunate that neither Franklin nor Jard's iteration are available outside of complete upper receivers.

The Franklin in particular has more in common with the MP7 than it does with an AR-15 anyway.

It's available as a complete rifle from Franklin.

Either 20"/16" barrel length.

But because of the way it looks I'm assuming in Canada it will be prohib
