Misc What even causes this
Firing CCI Mini Mag out of a TM22. This was like the 4th round out of this 10 round magazine. I pulled the trigger it didn’t fire so I took the magazine out and this is what I saw. Went on to shoot another 100 ish rounds after this with no issues.

Round didn’t feed properly into the chamber before the action closed. Could’ve been a number of reasons including that there wasn’t enough magazine spring tension pushing up on the round, a piece of debris that forced the round out of alignment, or maybe the action didn’t cycle all the way to the rear before travelling forward again. Sometimes the latter happens if the gun is really fouled up with carbon / gunk or it may be caused by the ammo. Regardless, it seems to have worked fine afterwards so it’s not something critical. Sometimes the best semi-autos malfunctions when you shoot them enough. Most issues can be avoided by keeping them and the magazines clean, lubricated, and try and use decent ammo.
