Misc What even causes this

Post image

Firing CCI Mini Mag out of a TM22. This was like the 4th round out of this 10 round magazine. I pulled the trigger it didn’t fire so I took the magazine out and this is what I saw. Went on to shoot another 100 ish rounds after this with no issues.

my ex's skinny skeleton like figure that stole the mags ability to feed.

But this happened once to my sks. Was freaky and to this day have zero idea wtf happened xD

Had this happen in my SKS as well, I found that the magwell was not quite seated high enough and some positive pressure on the bottom of the magazine removed all of my feeding issues in general and I never saw this vertical round again.  I've got the mag well permanently seated now so that it won't shift like that again. There's a little clip you need to make sure you are under when seating the mag well if you have a high Cal adapter. I bought mine already built and it wasn't under that clip so it was low by a couple millimeters.

Yeah I sent this picture to some family members who have been shooting for decades and none of them had ever seen this before.
