Gun and gear reviews Canadian manufacturer's.

This post is intended for an educational purpose especially to all those who think buying canadian or semi automatic, or even a tactical mixup would be great.

Oh boy, where to start this regretful dread of a post. Secondly, im just a young male who likes target shooting, not a hunting guy.

Bought a Crux 308 from crusader arms back in q4 2023 after it debut in the summer that year (i believe). Fired less than 60 shots at the time and had to send it in for ejector failure around Q2 2024, got it back around 8 weeks later (warped barrel, ejector swapped, and some other stuff, just the 2 that stood out to me especially after 60 rounds).

After I got it back I maybe fired 100 rounds though the gun but i had to take a year off shooting to focus on some other personal matters.

Anyways fast forward to yesterday, around 12 -15 months since I last shot it, I didnt even break 50 rounds till the ejector failed again and was stuck shut with a dead round as well.

I baby the absolute hell out of this rifle pre/post shooting so having it happen around 250 (at most) since the first is remarkable bad craftsmanship. And to top it off i immediately searched it up and see it's this guns biggest flaw.

With the pictures above would someone be able to help identify that part name and how to go forward about this. I'd like to avoid getting this rifle converted to a trophy on the wall. I have once again started an email with crusader but with how the time frame looks im not optimistic. Im also going to a gunsmith on Tuesday hoping something can be done too.

But for a closing statement to all the new PAL users, please avoid canadian made. I adore my rifle but If I could I'd go back and not buy this.

One day old account. Probably some opposition country like an American spreading "propaganda" not to buy Canadian. Kinda like how the Americans and Russia were busted pushing for Alberta to separate.

What are you talking about..the rifle is prohibited. You cant go out and buy the rifle regardless. He probably made an account specifically to talk about his experience, and he hasn't realized that the rifle was banned and he cant use it.

That's pretty hilarious coming from a guy that frequents r/liberalgunowners. The RCMP already came out and said there was no foreign influence. Keep drinking that koolaid and getting cucked by the government.
