Nice. I'm starting to realize I enjoy shooting manual action guns more than semi autos, so either an MRA straight pull or a Henry lever action is my next purchase for sure.

Because you only have limited shitty options, or because you legitimately like manual actions?

This isn't a snarky comment, I'm just curious if you got into the game late (no shade) or if you've been shooting for a while. We had some pretty skookum semiautomatics prior to the ban(s).

I have two semi autos, an SKS, and an OG tm22 done up with a few nice accessories and the top charging handle mod. I did get into the game late, but the semis I have function flawlessly for what they are.

🤷🏻‍♂️ I prefer shooting my cz457. I have a Benelli Supernova, and don't really have any desire to buy a semi auto shotgun.. Although I probably will eventually just for shits and giggles. I just prefer careful, precise shooting over mag dumping. Which is all I tend to do with semis. I line up my first shot, and take my time, then I send shots faster and faster as they land. I prefer to push each one down the pipe myself, reset my aim, and place each shot individually.

Doesn't mean I don't like semis, I'm just starting to realize after owning a couple that I prefer working the action myself. I've been shooting firearms on and off with friends and family for years, and with airguns all my life, but never had the time or money to get into the hobby myself until recently. I'm 37. My license didn't come in til after the 25 bans.. Everything I wanted to buy got banned. But now that I've owned some semis, and sent a few thousand rounds down range with them, I'm starting to think that maybe precision shooting is more my style.🤷🏻‍♂️

If the OICs got reversed and everything went back on the market today, I'd still buy a few semis that I'm missing, but tbh I feel like I'm just a manual action kinda guy.

Fr, and whether they got reversed or not, a nice straight pull is something I will be buying regardless. Nice setup OP.
