I had two of these break on me. Both 12g, one semi, one pump. Yes were fully warrantied but then re homed immediately. No issues with the holosuns so far at least for me.

Holosun makes one similar?! These are apparently lend themselves well to be used on carbines as well.

Want to get one for my Homesteader.

But would actually prefer a Holosun over a Vortex

On the flip side I bought one, and it's been on the same 12ga pumping out 3" slugs and shooting trap for 2 years with no issue. Always on too, just wakes to movement. Can't knock holosuns either they are workhorses, but my VTX micros and rds haven't failed me yet, and the lifetime no questions warranty is a big draw for some people too if they are prone to breaking rds.
