Milsurps / Prohib Deactivated firearms?
Since so much has been banned I wanted to try something new and ask y'all about dewats. Anyone own them? Or hate them? I can imagine we might get a lot of dewat AR's come october of this year (since they were originally registered). Better that than handed in.
Just curious what r/canadaguns thinks about that category of "non-firearms" in general.

In the military collecting vain of things dewats do have their place as something you can openly display whether it be on a wall or on a mannequin unfortunately with the current deactivation process it renders with no moving parts with very obvious signs of deactivation while dewats do command some money because "anyone can own them"
A Dewat that has old spec deactivation with the ability to charge and dry fire will always command much more money then one that is welded up solid in my opinion this past weekend I had the opportunity buy a 1945 ppsh41 welded up for $1400 roughly
