Milsurps / Prohib Deactivated firearms?

Since so much has been banned I wanted to try something new and ask y'all about dewats. Anyone own them? Or hate them? I can imagine we might get a lot of dewat AR's come october of this year (since they were originally registered). Better that than handed in.

Just curious what r/canadaguns thinks about that category of "non-firearms" in general.

I used to have a beautiful Sten Mk2. It cocked and clicked, could still field strip it. I sold it over a decade ago way too cheap.

Old spec deactivation right? That's a jewel for sure. They aren't making any more of those.

Yeah, it basically just had the barrel welded in place and plugged.
