Interesting to note that the agreement goes till March 2027….amnesty extension imminent

Could that just be the time period they’re planning for the actual confiscation part of the program?

Not possible because after October 31st it’s a crime, you have to be under amnesty otherwise they’d have to charge you the second you confiscate

The guns have to be surrendered by Oct 31st, but there's a lot of admin work police will have to do after the fact. They'll need to process and catalog each gun submitted, probably file reports, etc. The government could have also just put a generic end date to the agreement.

To me this isn't a smoking gun of amnesty extension, though I do believe they'll have to do something given the uptake numbers.

I thinks we might see a exestion if the CCFR court case gets dragged on to long.

it would be so amazing if they rule that any of these OICs that prohibited firearms that many people use for hunting are illegal. I mean, they are illegal by the definition of the OIC law, all they have to do is.... follow the law

Yep. Would be nice to have to have them force the issue via legislation rather then just setting a precedent you can OIC everything you like.
