Application / Regulation advice Saskatchewan Firearms Appraisal App

The Saskatchewan Firearms Appraisal and Verification App to receive a certificate of exemption has launched.

Will be interesting to see how well this works / doesn't work out in the end.

You could make that same argument in Saskatchewan, as well then if you wanted?

Yes you definitely could. Some people certainly agree. So far firearms ownership has been a bipartisan (from a Government and Opposition perspective) and we were the first to have this support from our Government.

Thankfully our Premier doesnt flirt with Separatists though.

Are you supposed to ignore a large portion of your voter base?

Until there is anything resembling a legal mandate or at the very least they campaigned openly on this and won, then yes, a provincial government should ignore this.

Edit: and if petition numbers are correct at 6% of population, even a basic understanding of math should say that is not a large portion of their voters.
