Got my 22 exemption recently and had the joy of picking up this puppy in the mail. Any pointers for someone new to pistol shooting?

How do you even buy one? All of the stores near me got rid of their pistol stocks long ago. They still have some bb/pellet pistols, but that's it. Do you have to put in a special order with your exemption letter from your club attached? How does it feel to transport something you know will cause a headache with any rcmp who catch you with it? What are you planning on doing if you get pulled over with it? Just show them a copy of your letter and ATT like before the freeze and hope the cop knows the current lay of the law (or lack thereof)?

I mean they can’t see when I bought it, so if I get pulled over its no different than anyone who bought their handgun before the freeze I think. I found a store with one in stock because they actually commented on another post here saying they had some (CRAFM)
