Feets / Collection / My build First (and hopefully not last) Pistol

Got my 22 exemption recently and had the joy of picking up this puppy in the mail. Any pointers for someone new to pistol shooting?

Oh man I want this one so badly. I’m trying to convince my friend’s dad to get an ATT for me for his, because he never uses it. Jealous 💯

Only advice is use good quality ammo with it. Our club has several of these and they are all beaten up because people use cheap ammo.

For Accuracy I've found the CCI minimags are the best. I don't know how using cheap ammo would beat up your pistol. I've used everything I could buy in mine for day to day shooting with the kids I use whatever is cheapest.

Come to my club and try all the Ruger Hunters we have. You’ll see 😆😆😆. They do their best to keep them clean and in service, but I’m happy I have my own gear.

I’m a fan of the CCI mini mag too. Tried the Aguila and had failures every 2-3 shots on our club firearms.
