Application / Regulation advice Sales tax on first Nations territory.

Hi,

As a law‑abiding citizen, I’m trying to find out whether gun stores on First Nations territory charge sales tax on firearms and ammunition. I’d hate to drive two hours only to discover they don’t charge it. Does anyone know? I’m especially wondering about Kahnawake. I'm not a member of the First Nations.

Thanks in advance!

Rez near me in ontario has a tax free gun shop. And a tax free everything else. Food gas smokes fireworks whatever plus a pot shop every 50 feet

The gunstore might actually be connected to a rez pot shop now that I think about it, at least shares a parking lot

Where in onterrible are you? I'd rather buy my ammo from a place like that. (Rough location is fine, if you don't want to say)

Shop is in tyendinega. Drove past it yesterday and I was right, literally connected to a weed store

That's a bit of a tour for me. Not much in the way of ammo stores on the reserves local-ish to me in SW Onterrible.
