Misc [Megathread] Makasi MK-15

This will be the place where all Makasi related discussion will be concentrated (until the rifle starts getting into peoples hands). We’re seeing a lot of repeated posts, hype, and speculation on sub right now and we want to try to keep it from drowning out the rest of the content you good folks are making.

We expect to remove this megathread once the rifle actually gets into people’s hands and gets some actual canadian reviews. In the meantime feel free to speculate, discuss your purchase/preorder or otherwise in this thread.

There is really little in the ways of documentation in video format on youtube ... which makes me incredibly hesitant

Durability testing would be nice for one ...1000 round burn down would nice

Burn down usually not a great indicator, as the rifle is rarely designed to discharge 1000 rounds in a short succession, <1 hour

I guess I miss used the word burndown ...something like the video was what I was referring to ... paul put well over 1000 rounds through his AK amd it ran just fine
