Misc [Megathread] Makasi MK-15

This will be the place where all Makasi related discussion will be concentrated (until the rifle starts getting into peoples hands). We’re seeing a lot of repeated posts, hype, and speculation on sub right now and we want to try to keep it from drowning out the rest of the content you good folks are making.

We expect to remove this megathread once the rifle actually gets into people’s hands and gets some actual canadian reviews. In the meantime feel free to speculate, discuss your purchase/preorder or otherwise in this thread.

Victory Ridge Sports (Barrie) has it for $200 down.

Except you’re stuck with a store credit should things not come to fruition. I went with Tenda last night. Same $200 deposit but fully refundable right up until the gun is in your hands. Better bet there I think.

I pre ordered to both places (tenda and victory ridge) victory ridge claims they can have it in 60-90 days because of a different provider. Worst case I have a 200$ credit for 7.62 best case I have it early and have 200$ to buy 5.56.

I saw that as well, and was tempted to order from Victory, but their stock on other products didn’t interest me and didn’t want to be stuck with a credit.

Yeah I agree compared to tenda their stock is meh,but I'm optimistic the mk-15 won't be ban before it arrives

I preordered with Marstar and it’s non-refundable unless the rifle is banned. Should have gone with Tenda, free shipping with them too.
