Looking for advice from milsurp guys

A local pawn shop has a heavily sporterized Kar 98 for 575$ and I've wanted a Kar 98 my whole life but even sporterized I never find them and when I do find complete original ones they're like 2k$ not talking about other variants but German made ww2 Mausers do you guys think that's a fair price?

Buy it. If you can find a stock and replace that one, even better.
