Misc TM22 Dry fire with chamber flag

Since I got downvoted in a comment in a different thread, here is a video showing dry firing the TM22 with a chamber flag inside. Not sure if it can cause any damage, seems fine to me for occasional dry fire.

You can actually just dry fire tm22 without that, there is a cross pin making sure ghe firing pin dont overtravel and hit the chamber face

Really??? Wow! Super helpful info actually. I haven't delved too deep into the internals of the rifle yet, but I know you're an expert on them so I trust your advice here. So no risk of dimpling the chamber face or snapping the pin?

Derya is actually a great company, I like that they listen to customers and do smart stuff like this, and have implemented a few minor fixes on the rifle design (buffer issue).

I stumbled across their Reddit account a bit ago and requested they make a 22mag semi auto similar to the TM22, because it would probably sell like crazy in Canada and they actually got back to me. They have a 22mag rifle in the works, but I don't know much else about it, that's all they said.

Still hoping to grab one of your charging handles sometime for my rifle, looks like a great kit

Ya, try dryfire on a dirty chamber you won't see a mark

Good to know. I couldn’t find any definite answers until now.
