Fix my gun Dlask receiver.

Has anyone built a 10/22 using a Dlask receiver? I bought one of their receivers and a Shaw barrel. There is no way the barrel is fitting in the receiver without modifications. Anyone know if they use a proprietary barrel size?

Look up how to install a tactical solutions barrel and do the same thing.

Thank you. Do your receivers fit better? Do I add blueing to the sanded part?

Ours are machined so almost all barrels fit without modification. We use a barrel lock screw to seat the barrel into the receiver.

Just put some grease on the shank and it will be fine.

Decided to order another one of your receivers instead of screwing around with barrel. Thanks again.

Thanks. I have one of yours in the tannodize. Awesome rifle.

My tuf-22 receiver with the Kidd match bull barrel was the same. I froze the barrel and used a rubber mallet to hammer behind the receiver while inserting the barrel. Worked out really good. Just be careful with alignment of the barrel / extractor groove because if not aligned, it'll be a pain on the butt to rotate afterwards.

Keep in mind that super tight fit is 1000x better then just a tad loose. So be careful if you sand the tenon...

Also, afterwards, the tacksol V-block doest miracles to prevent barrel droop. (Tried OEM, adjustable V-blocks, etc) Tacsol V-block has always been my go to in 10-22 builds.

Yup I fitted a Kidd to a Dlask about 10 years ago. I did have to sand the barrel tenon a bit. I put the receiver in the oven at 220F and the barrel in the freezer. Make sure you have the extractor slot lined up correctly or it’ll really suck taking it apart

about to go through a similar process with TUF-22 once my Shaw barrel arrives, this is a helpful thread https://www.rimfirecentral.com/threads/video-removing-and-installing-a-10-22-barrel-using-a-heat-gun.1219763/

Dlask receivers specifically note some fitting is required for barrel installation due to tolerances and cerakote
