Gun and gear reviews Should I get a Baikal shotgun?

I’m in the market for my first shotgun, mainly for clays. I’ve been seeing over under and side by side Baikal shotguns for super cheap on intersurplus. Are these ultra cheap shotguns worth it or am I basically buying a project/scrap.

It’s a good tool, not much of a toy

I’ve heard that they can be a bit rough and unrefined. But would one still be okay for a complete beginner to shoot some clays or some other backwoods shooting?

You’ll be fine. It’s just rough and cheap not terrible. Although, as you progress to pro players. This won’t sustain very extensive shooting
