Shitpost / Memes Gucci Gang, Gucci Gang

Post image

August/September is a long way off, so might as well fantasize about eventual upgrades.

Will you be leaving it stock, or are you planning to pimp it out? If so, how?

People are going to spend all this money and watch it get banned the next day and then we’ll get the next big thing, over and over and over.

Yeah, I remember the crypto

I'm not sure anymore. I thought the Henry Homesteader and other stragglers would've been mopped up via OIC while the "buyback scam" was still open. I expect rather then an OIC, well eventually see a nasty new Firearms Bill.

23

u/Theticallation Apr 17 '26

Given the majority, I as well expect action to be taken in the form of new bills rather than OIC

u/burgers1919 Apr 17 '26

U think? With the NDP boot licking didn't they pretty much have a majority though? Singh was basically a little vote goblin for the man he could never be wasn't he?

u/ThanksCarol Apr 17 '26

Or maybe instead of blaming everyone under the sun we start with the party who’s supposed to be pro gun. If cons had a half competent leader there wouldn’t be all these crossings and a majority. Regardless of what the liberals and NDP do, they always stated that they’re not pro guns. People need to start protesting and force these idiots to get rid of PP. yelling at the clouds at the liberals and now NDP is the reason we are in this mess. A clown leader should not be accepted, people were caping for PP non stop and now look at the state of affairs. It’s getting frustrating to say the least

u/burgers1919 Apr 18 '26

Man, idk if u are just a lib too but ummm... When a liberal government and liberal government shills on CBC say they should get rid of PP it means they are scared of him...

If I want to dominate my enemy I would not give them actual good advice I would do the opposite. Like "let us take your firearms it will somehow make you safe".

It is like you guys have never been a threat to anyone or held a position of authority where weaker ppl tried to bring you down...

Savior Messiah Complex again

Please just shut the hell up.

What do you want, another anti-gun leader like O'toole?

buyback scam

"Confiscation" There are those who will receive nothing on top of those receiving a small fraction of what is fair.

3

u/Geralt-of-Rivai Apr 17 '26

Yeah people said the same thing about the Homesteader and the Alcor and I was worried too when I bought both, but I've had many months with them and thousands of rounds through them so why live in fear, go shoot!

15

u/bosnanic Apr 17 '26

The Crypto was a scam from the start. Crusader Arms sold the rifle before they even got a frt for it knowing full well the RCMP could declare it as an ar variant, after the OiC they had the audacity to crank up the price of that garbage rod to over 3k and then boom after RCMP review it got a prohibited status.

4

u/Canadian-gun-nut Apr 17 '26

That’s not a scam. They never lied and said they had a FRT and anyone who bought it knew WELLLLL enough that it’s a risk, a risk I was happy to take and will do it again anyday. The bans only mean you should get 10 or 50. If they don’t want you to have it, then you should have a lot of it.

2

u/ThanksCarol Apr 17 '26

Why not do refunds then?

4

u/Last_Temperature_599 Apr 17 '26

Bankruptcy... if they can't sell rifles they cant make the cash to refund. They got burned aswell you know. It's a small Canadians business the pre-order was the funds to keep the project rolling.

1

u/Canadian-gun-nut Apr 17 '26

Exactly that ⬆️ why would they even do refunds? Did you not receive the rifle you bought? They weren’t the ones making the rifle into a paper weight it was the tyrant government we have. But either way like I said.. it was a risk you take when you buy a rifle that this government will most likely ban, like the makasi now. Pre-orders will sell out anyways and all of us know that we might have it banned the second we get it and we don’t give a f because their bans and their tyrannical rules don’t apply to us because who takes this government seriously? You shouldn’t and like I said if the government doesn’t want you to have it the you should have 10 of it.. or 50

2

u/jwubadubdub Apr 17 '26

1 per hand...and foot

With 46 spares just in case

1

u/Canadian-gun-nut May 09 '26

Exactly. Now you are talking

3

u/DougMacRay617 Apr 17 '26

Yeah god forbid they do whatever they can to give the people what they want.

6

u/ThanksCarol Apr 17 '26

Or the answer from outside the cult and in reality land is they did that shit to scam money from our community. They took pre order money and refused to refund it when the inevitable happened. Anyone defending them is part of the problem

2

u/1anre Apr 17 '26

People who didn't get their machines before the ban never got cash back, for what reason?

2

u/DougMacRay617 Apr 17 '26

I wasn't aware they stole peoples money. Site your sources or you might as well be the lib gov spreading false info

6

u/Icy6521 Apr 17 '26

At least this has a FRN which means there would have to be a new oic added to an already failing program

15

u/dgod40 Apr 17 '26

Didn't that bulpup shotgun have an FRN, and then the RCMP just do the old switcheroo?

9

u/conanap Apr 17 '26

Yeah I thought so too. I understand why people want this and will spend on it, but not currently a risk I’m willing to take given how… vague everything is

1

u/jwubadubdub Apr 17 '26

The more I speak to different people and dealers about it, it seems it was only vague because the information was leaked in advance of what would have otherwise been an exclusive/surprise offering by CRAFM today.

Apparently Gravel has been working on this for years, Brigade is well established and the Makasi has years of solid reviews. I still have questions about specifics of the barrel and gas system, but this situation seems somewhat different from other fiascos like the crypto

1

u/conanap Apr 18 '26

Ah to clarify, I meant our laws

9

u/milanskiv Apr 17 '26

Not quite. RCMP can now change classification on their own, at a whim.

8

u/MostEnergeticSloth Apr 17 '26

It's still shocking to me people are still out there (particularly who use the internet) and didn't know this. They've been doing it since after the 2020 OIC. FRN doesn't mean jack apart from being able to import it en-masse. It's not safe by any means lol

13

u/CringelordCameron Apr 17 '26

I think the likelihood of another OIC is very low in the current political environment. This gun will probably stay NR for a while.

6

u/Wooden_Celebration34 Apr 17 '26

They don’t need to use an OIC now that they have a majority. And they’re in no rush (unless we get another tragedy). They will take their time and introduce a new firearms bill that encompasses everything they missed with the OIC and including everything they got with it as well so the supreme courts can’t overturn it.

2

u/1anre Apr 17 '26

Then Canada becomes what - the UK, as long desired ?

1

u/WinterInternal8799 Apr 18 '26

Would that mean the GSG’s would be legal again? They still have them there…

1

u/Wooden_Celebration34 Apr 18 '26

We are well on our way already. There’s talk of Canada joining the EU already.

1

u/CringelordCameron Apr 17 '26

We have probably 2 years before that happens, if it happens at all. Buy what you want and shoot it.

6

u/DonAzuld Apr 17 '26

That’s what I thought in 2024… then 2025 :(

5

u/MostEnergeticSloth Apr 17 '26

They wouldn't. They've "modified" the FRT by changing dozens of firearm classifications well after the initial OIC without making a new OIC. Yes yes, FRT isn't law etc etc. Haven't seen anyone willing to step to the plate to challenge that in a court case tho...

Having a FRN is only useful for import. It doesn't make it any more or less safe than a rifle that doesn't have one. Just means they tickled the lab's balls.

3

u/DougMacRay617 Apr 17 '26

"I remember the crypto" fuck id hope you did if you didn't you should get your memory checked it was only banned a year ago

-1

u/Theticallation Apr 17 '26

You’d be surprised by the short term memory a good chunk of this sub has

10

u/DougMacRay617 Apr 17 '26

This sub? Try this country. How tf did these people vote liberal again after a decade of decline.

-7

u/Theticallation Apr 17 '26

Good question, ask Poilievre how he threw the most free election in the country’s history

2

u/m_mensrea Apr 18 '26

He really didn't. He had the unfortunate problem of Trump coming to power and being the dickhead he is plus having the CBC et al go along with doing everything they could to make Conservatives in Canada appear to be Americans. Because we have such a low information populace it worked and we got Carney instead now. He still won a huge amount of the countries vote, more than enough to historically win a majority. Except the left consolidated itself under the Liberals and the NDP collapsed completely. A perfect storm having not much to do with Poilievre unfortunately. He could have done things better but unfortunately a lot of circumstances turned against him.
