Honestly even if they get prohibited, who cares it’s NR and it’s yours forever

Unfortunately the long gun registry is back in all but name. In addition to getting a reference number from the CFP, gun stores are now required to write down your PAL number, the make, model and serial number of the NR gun they are selling you, and keep that information for at least 20 years.
