I wonder if they are misrepresenting the magazine limit rules due to malice, or ignorance. I wonder if a lot of it is willful, or not.

Like, clearly someone over there does have like the same understanding of firearms regulations as the average person on this subreddit, even if most of them don’t, but I wonder if inaccuracies like that are willful or not. This isn’t a “loophole” or “exception” at all. The 5-round and 10-round limits are exceptions to the rule, if anything.

I'm at the stage where I wholeheartedly believe it's malice because they were the ones who pushed for the semi magazine restrictions of 5/10 way back when.

They're the experts on their side and they benefit from misleading the public. Assume malice.

Just like Provost recently saying the government estimates there are 136k affected banned guns that need to be bought back. It's not accidental, they're lying on purpose.
