Gun and gear reviews Misleading Claims

What are some of the misleading claims that you have heard from firearm manufacturers/hunting gear brands and hunting/shooting influencers?

Wondering because I often see ads for hunting rifles or shotguns being overhyped or just in the most unrealistic of situations. Or another example would be MDT's HNT26 chassis (I'm not hating on MDT, yes I have bought products from them) but I find it just unnecessary to pay that much for a chassis to do the same job that a Tikka T3x light or a pencil barrel Mauser would do.

I want to hear your thoughts.

I'm going to put the biggest one out there instantly the MOA accuracy guarantee. Albeit there is some truth to it as it means the quality control of the firearm is decent. However most brands of bolt action rifles can produce a 3-5 shot group at sub moa with the proper factory ammunition or load development. And most importantly skill. Most products sold do help to a degree but at the end of the day you can't better without training and learning.

The thing is also, with CNC technology being what it is now, most manufacturers can build a decent bolt action rifle.

This is the true answer. It was a big deal it one point because older rifles were minute of deer. With today's advancements anyone can make a sub moa gun.
