Gun and gear reviews Misleading Claims
What are some of the misleading claims that you have heard from firearm manufacturers/hunting gear brands and hunting/shooting influencers?
Wondering because I often see ads for hunting rifles or shotguns being overhyped or just in the most unrealistic of situations. Or another example would be MDT's HNT26 chassis (I'm not hating on MDT, yes I have bought products from them) but I find it just unnecessary to pay that much for a chassis to do the same job that a Tikka T3x light or a pencil barrel Mauser would do.
I want to hear your thoughts.

Influencers trying to peddle trash optics as anywhere near the quality and refinement of actual high grade brands.
As much as many things are are overhyped, optics, especially scopes, are the one thing you shouldn't cheap out on. Their just complex machinery that can't be replicated for cheap and mass scale.
People want a cheap solution, they go to youtube or where ever and confirm their own baised. The amount of money people waste trying to buy junk usually cost more than it would to just invest in a proper scope the first time.
That doesn't mean you need to buy nighforce, but the Amazon special is cheap for a reason.
Ill take a cheap rifle with a quality optic over the opposite any day.
