Because Canadian Tire is a dealer-franchise, each independent dealer has some sovereignty in how they run their individual retail location's inventory (i.e. how much of a firearms storefront they choose to run). The Leduc, Alberta location is owned by a mining engineer. And in my experience, mining engineers like firearms, hehe

The Fredericton nb crappy tire had a hunting section that looked like a miniature wholesale sports. Mind u. That was 20+ yrs ago
