Yes lol but he doesn’t have the means of mass production he was saying in the comments he’d happily license it but wouldn’t invest money into his own production until a government change

Can’t blame him, with the lunatics occupying the parliament - it’s kinda pointless.

Exactly, it would be a huge waste of money if they just OiC’ed it or something along the lines. I can only imagine what some people and companies have made/thought of but don’t wanna deal with the headaches of this government

Maybe he can sell the plans to Crusader! Half kidding too. A company with the mills/CNC already up and running could produce it for not much investment I would think

This could be pure copium but this could signal a shift from up top.  The liberals aren't blind to the fact the confiscation isn't going well.  Up til now the only reason they had to keep it going were the seats in quebec, but with all floor crossers they may be moving to abandon the project altogether, Provost be damned.

Or it could be luck, but I damn I can hope.

hopium and copium. Man, I really wish we can get some of our cool guns and mags back...

It’s not a shift from up top. The RCMP lab has nothing to do with the OICs or legislation. Its always been this way.

This is correct. As much as people here don't want to admit it, the RCMP has nothing to do with lawmaking or OIC bullshit. They are up to their own shenainagans.

Well, RCMP has FRT banned guns randomly that had been on the market for months or years. Charles Daly N4S had an FRT and was available for a long time, then randomly got reassigned prohibited by the RCMP after already having an NR FRT. So the RCMP upper brass/lab does like to crap on us too from time to time.

That was the classic "unnamed variant" curse. Basically after every major OIC there will be a few firearms that retroactively getting added to the list via FRT as the legislators missed it. Nothing new. At least it is predictable that they only do this after every OIC.

Like I said, they are up to their own shenanigans lol

They were getting up to some excellent shenanigans when Provost started getting in the way.

Not quite true. Brenda Lucki was more than happy to help the Liberals by shifting blame from the NS shooting onto legal gun owners.

Yeah both the Gov and RCMP need to be removed from decision making process, hence why we need the Simplified Classification System. Where just objectively all semi-autos are legal, regardless of appearance.

I hope they toss her like yesterday's garbage now that she's had her time at the helm, fucking things up for everyone. The LPC can say they tried and move on to more important things like the threat down south.

i've been huffing that same copium

Can I take a hit of that copium?

Sidebar: I would pay good money to watch Gladu start rhyming off how much she could do with an industrial supply stores chemical section in response to the gun ban in a caucus meeting. That would be hilarious seeing Provost have to grapple with the fact that you can't bubble wrap the world.

It’s likely a one-off made in the guys garage. Don’t expect mass production.

…the RCMP already know about this. There’s zero chance that the anti-gun lobby isn’t watching the “what’s new” side of things any less than we are.

I mean sure, but the RCMP has also randomly been banning a bunch of stuff for the past few years.

There’s been random things added to those “2,500 firearms” on a near continual basis ever since 2020. That’s not including the last major OIC that happened either.
