u/spicymeatmemes I've only fired 3 mags, and I'm already seeing improvement

Excellent news. More time on the trigger is key. Focus on the front sight, feet shoulder width apart. Half a step forward with foot opposite of trigger finger. Lean into it a bit, not overly. Bring the gun up to your eye, not the other way around.

Slow. Intentional pull on the trigger, find where it gets tight against "the wall" pull through and keep trigger pulled back. Slowly release trigger until you feel it click (called trigger resets) and then you can learn to ride that tension as you shoot.

Edit to add: you can learn the resets as a "dry fire" exercise, too. Prove and acts and all that first obviously

Tips I most commonly give. I'm glad you're doing better, shoot more each outing if you can like 50 rounds minimum. (I dont go to the range unless im shooting 100 rounds+) It'll help prevent any sort of flinch to develop

I also add this, as a reference of how your eyes should be focused

It also looks like youre hitting consistently high, so try to sit the target on top of your front sight called a 6 o'clock hold Also be sure your sights are level like in the image

Beyond that its finger placement on trigger and grip. Ideally it'll look like this and for grip be like this lethal grandpa with 60-70% of grip coming from the off hand. Trigger hand should only be there to focus on pulling the trigger slowly. So tight squeeze with off hand and (somewhat) loose trigger hand

This.

Too far and the impact will just look random.

Close will allow to see a trend emerge and that will tell what issue he has to work on first to build the skill and muscle memory.

Sight alignment, grip/trigger control will tighten those groups up in no time

Doing be in a hurry, nice and slow while practicing
