Buy recommendations .22lr recommendations

What do y’all reccomend for a cheap semi auto .22

Would you still go 10/22 vs Wildcat or 597 for something like a Mapleseed? Or go CZ and just deal with the bolt.

Either semi, extra mags, and an adequate optic.
Wildcat's controls have better ergos but fitting the stock for LOP and cheek weld is typically worse, so there's no easy answer. Newer 10/22 models with the stock BX trigger solve both, for a price. (A custom 10/22 will have better balance and better trigger, which isn't feasible to do on a Wildcat, but that's a price bracket or two up.)
