Buy recommendations .22lr recommendations

What do y’all reccomend for a cheap semi auto .22

No one ever says the Winchester Wildcat. I’m saying the Winchester Wildcat.

I love mine, but I bought it under the idea that I have other rifles to tinker with, I want to pull this out of the cabinet and shoot and nothing else. In that regard, is lighter, has default last round bolt hold open, and is much easier to take down and clean than a 10/22.

The only real downsides are yes it’s turkshit but I’m at about 700 rounds with only 2 light strikes as my failures. There’s also very little aftermarket (none) but sometimes it’s important to remember - it’s not the got dang mlok flashlight that goes boom.
