What do y’all reccomend for a cheap semi auto .22

They are on sale on firearm outlet Canada for like 350 polymer stock or 380 for wood stock, however Ruger just did a refresh (model 32000) which includes new polymer stock with m-lok, threaded barrel ( not very useful for 22) ,auto bolt release so no more fiddly button, and the better bx trigger for $450, the trigger alone is 130 upgrade so the price was worth it to me just ordered it yesterday to go alongside my other 10/22.

Or if these bans get discarded, the gsg 16 is a fun gun to mess around with.
