Buy recommendations .22lr recommendations

What do y’all reccomend for a cheap semi auto .22

They have cycling issues unless kept meticulously clean. Even a tiny bit of extra gun oil gums them up HARD, they basically need to be run dry.

The magazines are kindy crappy too.

I've owned two over the years.

My grandfather bought one for me, I shot three mags and the magazine hold fell apart. Took it back to the dealer, he exchanged it for a new one right there and then. Fast forward 15 years and thousands of rounds it’s never broken anything else. Definitely likes the CCI ammo more but would recommend one any day of the week.

Disagree with the magazine comments in this thread, my three mags have ran flawlessly.

64 precision was the first rifle i bought.. no issues with CCi stingers the large mags were an issues... they said they hold 20 but i would only be able to put 15 in before the mag spring pressure caused it to jam
