No dude, it's the citizens that are solely to be vilified. The small business owners need to be protected, they were just trying to feed their families.
Canadians assume Vancouver = BC. Do they not have any idea how hick as fuck most of the interior and the entire thing is north of Kamloops? I'd garantee most of these guns are either from businesses or family inheritances.
I personally know of someone who inherited a 300+ single action revolver collection from their grandsther. The RCMP are incredibly aware of that stash.

My limited experience supports this. Going from the AB peace country to northern BC, you wouldn't be able to tell any difference except for the road signs.
Yea exactly. North of kamloops is very remote living. Also, is there any way for people to participate with firearms that aren't on the banned list? People who inherited firearms but know nothing about them and just see they can receive compensation?
I mean, a call to a used gun dealer wouldn't hurt.
AFAIK there is no way to get compensation for them if they weren't on the list. An individual could surrender them to the police if they don't want them at home, but you aren't seeing a cent and effectively gifting the government a family inheritance.
