Same for ontario, its usually the city dwellers that have a hard time seeing the forest for the trees.

Thats cus unless the tree is in a carefully managed city planter, most can't find a tree let alone the forest. Full stop.

There are many gun owners in montreal that have been targeted and are opposed to the bans like myself. Hell, we even had a bus convoy departing from montreal for the quebec city protest

That's all well and good. For some reason its large cities that breed the anti gun sentiment. Being a gun enthusiast in a large city puts you in a very, very small minority. Keep fighting in the good fight.

It’s because they all see gun crime and can’t seem to separate the illegally purchased or smuggled firearms from those bought and owned by responsible, vetted, trained, and licensed firearm owners.

quebec city is fairly conservative for a major city in canada. all of its suburbs went conservative last election. toronto and vancouver cant say the same.
