Shooting Got my first shipment of .308
Ngl, I cheaped out on my first shipment and kept every box under $32
I found the 180gr for $28.99 per box, so I snagged 2 of those and S&B 147Gr 50 pack was on sale for around $60, then the Federal 150gr were around $30 and PMC 147gr were $28.99
I am going to do a test with these and see what my 1:10 barrel shoots best at 300 yards and then I will spend a bit more on 175gr and 168gr which people praise

You mean how consistency helps quality? With less deviation between cartridges, the variance between fps won’t be as high between each shot, it will be more accurate vs a similar weight bullet in a cartridge that sees a wider variation of fps between shots.
