Elcan brothers unite! How was the zeroing with it for you? I had a hell of a time getting mine zeroed on my TM

Easy-peazy. I've been using Elcans regularly since the 90's, and repair them in my day job from time to time, so yeah, good glass, and with the Gen 4 mount (spring holding the top and bottom halves together) they're quite reliable.

(Note - there are a lot of improvements from the Gen 1/2 to the current issue Gen 4 mounts - backlash spring tensioners, elevation drum changes, spring tensioner, metallurgical changes to components, etc, but I mention the spring as that's the 'easily' visible difference between the generations.)
