I've had mine for a number of years now and have had a great time with it. Hasn't let me down, doesn't pretend to be something it's not. Goes bang everytime.

3" magnum slugs are fun to shoot, 2 3/4" target loads are easily done one handed.

I've put so many shells through mine, even though its a single shot, a great time overall.

Good to hear.. These were going on sale for 100 dollars 8-10 years ago…it’s based on Reddit or YouTube clips

I was able to get it for 120…barely used gun. Good addition to my collection and to use at the range or hunting.

Thats about what I paid for it around that time. I've had mine for just under 10 years.

Good for slinging over the shoulder and walking some trails.

Edit to add: some people reported losing the front bead, or the stock becoming loose/cracking and foreend becoming loose as well. I havent had that issue, and I havent been all that kind to mine

The original backpacker is chinese. Its a steel receiver, made by Norinco. They are pretty solid guns, they have an external hammer but dont fold right in half. They arr copies of old H&R singles
