Milsurps / Prohib Norinco QBZ-95/97 Appreciation Post

Post image

Howdy folks!

The Texan is back with yet another gun appreciation post.

Today, we got the Type 97, which for a while was actually popular in Canada, and yes in this one, I did include THE Canadian Flat Top version that was available. I don’t know if you can get them anymore, but these things are actually pretty cool in my opinion.

I know some people will say:

“It’s Chineseum and it sucks!”

I know, still over here in the US I wish we could buy them, but unfortunately we cannot due to how Norinco was banned from importing rifles into the United States, and now we can only get Norinco Shotguns in here. In particular the Hawk Industries Hawk 97/982, which is better known as the H&R 1871 Pardner Pump and Blue Line Solutions BL-18

Anyways if y’all have experience with the Type 97, let me know about it!

Enjoy!

They were and are better than any Canadian made 180s

Yup, between 2020-2024 this is THE most reliable 223 "black rifle" at its price range. Much more reliable than a WK180, SRV2, or whatever Crusader garbage.
