News / Politics / Activism FOC Gun Range press release

Post image

Cool looking facility but not the smartest photo. Let’s just have an 8 person chain flagging each others face 🤦‍♂️

These guys are charging almost $1400 for your first year of membership when target sports offers the exact same (minus the guest passes) for $700+ tax

In Manitoba, you can get an MWF Family membership for 80 a year, and you get access to any of their facilities, and any facilities they’re partnered with. I couldn’t imagine spending 1400 a year for a range pass

You also get 10% off at Marks, and 25% off from the Rapala website with their membership, definitely worth 80 bucks lol

Even in "Bring Cash" BC, my annual membership is $260...

Target sports doesn't have the guest passes anymore? They used to have that piece of paper with discounts and passes.

Pretty sure you get three free guest passes per year with the full membership and after that it’s like $35 per guest visit. Something like that anyway

I got 5 x as part of my 2025 target sports membership

Sounds about right

Yeah. And then it’s $20 for a guest after that I believe. I let my membership lapse because I want to try GSC.

Gsc is good, been a member only for a couple months but I’m really enjoying it, the staff are all great there

Awesome. Great to hear that. My experience at Target Sports this last year was solid also, nothing bad to say about it.

I’ve heard it gets stupid busy there on the weekends lol, same kinda for gsc but not crazy, you’ll find open lanes in the afternoon no problem on weekends, mornings you’re gonna have to book the week prior more likely… that’s what I do atleast unless I go during the week

Aw damn they got rid of that? Guess that’s one thing FOC has up on TS but that isn’t worth the extra $700 IMO

Triggers & Bows has 24/7 Keycard access, and is $500+hst a year for Membership.

Hell, you can get a full 4 person family package for $725+HST.

Only hangup with them is the caliber limitation.

If you don’t mind driving a little East Elgin Sportsman’s Association is only like $350 for the year. You get about $100 off if you do 8 hours of community service for the range. No calibre restrictions, 24/7, indoor and outdoor range. With the price of an FOC membership for 1 year you can get almost 5 years at EESA. LOL

thanks for sharing, I will look into this club. close enough to GTA. I book lanes on weekdays as a non-member at Urban Tactical sometimes but would like to join a club for weekend access.

Literally what I used to do. Then I got a membership at target sports. Then I frequently got headaches from all the noise on busy days at target sports . Switched to EESA and never looked back. ONLY problem with EESA is that it’s about an hour and a half drive from the city but hey at least I can shoot gongs at 300 yards now 🤷🏻‍♂️

Never got stopped transporting to/from the range due to the distance you have to drive?

1

u/Bobba_cs Apr 01 '26

By the cops? Never

1

u/1anre Apr 01 '26

There's literally nowhere in GTA or Halton

3

u/Tiflotin Mar 31 '26

If they want $1400 a year that better include collecting all my brass and reloading for me 😂

3

u/Bobba_cs Mar 31 '26

I can see the sign now “no brass collecting allowed” 😂

2

u/Tiflotin Mar 31 '26

They'll add it as a perk to the $20,000 lifetime pass LMAO
