Milsurps / Prohib SKS price

Just got my first gun and it was a Chinese SKS paid 850. Did I get ripped off?

They're starting to go over 1k now. You can still find some non-Chinese ones for anywhere between 900 and 1.1k

I paid $795 for my second yesterday. First one was $450 xD
