Obviously not enough public yet to know why they were deemed insecure but like, if you don’t obey the rules, yes you lose your guns idk why this seems so shocking to yall lol. This possibility was clearly laid out for me when I got my RPAL. Guns are a privilege not a right

Ahh so if I’m home swapping accessories on some guns or cleaning a bunch after a range day and have a medical emergency where police respond for whatever reason… I should be criminally charged, have all my firearms seized and license revoked? That sounds like a reasonable application of the law to you?

Realistically, if they were being cleaned then no that doesn’t sound like a reasonable application. But I can’t tell you how many people I’ve seen who keep them stored in open air in a corner of their house, or just the closet or something. Even loaded. Imo there should be nuance around it to an extent especially considering a medical emergency. Getting a warrant for search and seizure of firearms does not bode well for the odds of safe storage in my honest opinion
