Prohibited after purchase? Unsecured how? Abiding by NR storage laws? As the prohib could be legally stored?

From the picture it certainly appears the prohibs are all previously nr but banned under the oic. It even says he has registered restricted ones as well, clearly the handguns which means he had a license. So basically just storage is the issue… whoever called in that wellness check should have done it themselves.

Could also be some of the handguns weren’t registered. There is still some old lads around at never registered them.

Hasn’t the handgun registry existed since the 1930s?

They also say that he had some prohibited / restricted firearms that weren't registered, but it's not clear if these are previously-NR firearms that are under amnesty or not.

And what was the medical incident? Maybe I’m blind cause I did a quick read through but I didn’t see. I know me, technically my firearms are “unsecured” when I open the safe to clean/maintain one and don’t close it up right away because I’m sitting right there. What if I had a seizure at that moment?

Could have been a suicide or drug event based on the 117 warrant. But it’s very vague so just speculating

Okay that makes sense too. Not familiar with warrant types.

You would be fine because you're right there doing something reasonable with them.

No, they get stored as there previous classification... So a currently prohib NR can be stored as a normal NR... How they get stored didn't change.

That’s incorrect. Stored as previously classified.
