Them using AI slop is a massive missed opportunity to have a photo shoot with real CCFR members to show the government and the public that ordinary law abiding gun owners are just that, Ordinary members of the public like everybody else. using AI Slop immediately discredits and invalidates whatever you have to say

You have to withdraw your declaration before the collection period starts, which is in 5 days. Theres no time for that lol the message had to be out quick

Incorrect. You can withdraw consent right up until you give them your gun.

Once the gun has been confiscated, then you lose the ability to withdraw.

Ah okay, I thought it was once the confiscation stage started

Yeah - and sorry if I came across as a dick there; it's a super common misconception so I just wanted to correct it in the most direct manner possible so people know what their options are!

This. Everyone for this post is all "leftists hate ai". These people have to grow up. The saying "a picture is worth a thousand words" is still a thing.

Is this picture aimed at the gun community? Yes. Will the general public see it? Also yes. A strong image is what you want the public to see. An organization that supports gun owners but can't provide a simple real photo of someone holding a sign for a photo? Lazy and to me, shows a disconnect.

The next issue is the gun. Obviously important given the topic, and needed bad enough to ask ai to spit garbage out. A better alternative would've been to have someone pose with a banned .22 or have a few others around that are obviously ridiculous to ban.

This way anyone outside the community that stumbles upon the image, will have a slightly better idea of how stupid this ban is.

I have no idea if I make sense. I'm typing this on my phone at work while drilling blast holes. If your organization is at the point you're going to the supreme court, put some effort into your public relations.
